Seedling Information.

• Two year old Stone pine seedlings ready to plant out in the field, averaging 30-40 cm tall.

• Hardy, fast growing, heat and drought tolerant.

For Growers.

• Plant out directly in the field in cool conditions or pot up and grow on for 1-2 years to get your trees ahead of the weeds and give them time to adapt to your climate.

• Avoid fertilising in the first few months after planting as this can burn seedlings.

• Plant on gentle slopes or hilly terrain with good drainage, they do not like wet feet.

• Frost tolerant down to -7 degrees celsius, prefers warmer climates.

• Water young seedlings regularly until established. Once stablished requires little water or fertiliser.

• Keep weeds down around the tree for at least the first two years until established.
