How is shipping price calculated?

Shipping cost is auto-calculated based on weight and your location.

How are our shipments packaged?

Seed Orders: Seed orders are sent in padded envelopes via regular post. We can ship seeds to all Australian states and territories and overseas.

Single small tree box: estimated weight 1.5 kg. Single tree boxes can be shipped via Australia post to NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD and SA only (and TAS - conditional). Your tree is tightly wrapped in a customised box with padding.

Seedling box: (up to 80 seedlings) estimated weight 6kg. Can also hold 4x 140mm (2L) pots or 2x 200mm (4.5L) pots. The seedlings are generally sent standing up with root plugs together, or if they are too tall, lying down end to end. Any voids are filled with padding to stop them moving. The boxes are fragile taped and labelled with ‘this way up’ arrows.

Seedling boxes can be shipped individually via Australia post to NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD and SA only (TAS - conditional). Some varieties can be shipped to the NT (contact us). We can only ship seeds to WA due to customs restrictions.

We recommend shipping single trees and seedlings via express post to minimise the time plants are in transit. This is especially important in Summer when plants are soft/actively growing and more prone to damage.

Pallets: Can fit: 6-25 seedling boxes or 50 x 140mm (2L) pots or 36x 200mm (4.5L pots) or 16 x 300mm (13L) pots or 9 x 430mm (35L) pots. Combinations of pots are also possible. We always try to economise on space to save you in shipping fees.

How do Winter Pre-orders work?

Pre-orders are a way for us to sow and grow seedlings for you and ensure we have trees ready by Winter each year. Because pre-orders help us plan what to sow, we offer discounts if orders are placed by mid-Spring each year. We ask for a 40% deposit to cover some of the costs of growing and care, and the remainder once they are aready to send in Winter.

When will you ship our pre-order?

Pre-orders are shipped once the seedling crop matures in Winter each year and once the final deposit invoice has been issued and paid. Due to high order numbers, seedlings are shipped over a 3-4 week period in Winter as part of our weekly (Monday) post runs, or in the case of large orders of 1 pallet or more, on Fridays with a courier. Tracking numbers are sent out with your shipment. We are not able to customise delivery date for orders under a pallet in size, please be ready to receive your pre-order order from June 30th each year.
