Monterey cypress (Hesperocyparis macrocarpa) - 4x tubestock

A popular ornamental evergreen, with lush yellow-green growth, fast growing and often used for hedging or windbreaks. The juvenile foliage on young plants is light green in colour, darkening as the plant matures. Likes coastal conditions like in it’s home range in California and tolerates salt well, though also handles drought, frosts and inland Australian weather including intense heat. Grows best on slightly acidic, sandy to loamy soils with ample moisture.

Available in the following sizes:

  • Seedlings - 1 year old and 15-20cm tall

  • 4× 70mm tube-stock grown seedlings - between 20 and 30cm in height and 2 years old.

  • 140mm pots - 3 years old and 40-50cm tall
